Reiki that's personal to you
No two people walk into a treatment room with exactly the same energy.
That's why my sessions combine Reiki with personalised chakra balancing, using techniques from Eden Energy Medicine to explore what is happening within your own chakra system that day.
I gently check your individual chakras and assess the flow of energy through them — listening to what your body's energy is telling us about what it needs that day.
What I find then guides the chakra balancing I do with you. So although the foundations of the treatment remain the same, the session itself is individual to you.
What does your energy need today?
You might already love Reiki. You might be curious about your chakras. You may have been feeling tired, stressed or out of balance lately, or simply feel drawn to having some time to switch off.
You don't need a particular reason.
For many people, one of the pleasures of Reiki is simply the experience itself: an hour away from the usual noise and activity of life, with nothing else competing for your attention.
My aim is for you to leave feeling deeply relaxed, restored and more balanced.
If Reiki is new to you
There's nothing you need to know beforehand.
People experience Reiki differently. You may notice warmth, tingling or other sensations. You may become deeply relaxed. You may notice very little at the time. There isn't a particular response we're looking for. You don't need any previous knowledge of chakras or Eden Energy Medicine either. In fact, part of the interest can simply be discovering what we find.
What happens during your session?
You'll be comfortable and fully clothed on the treatment couch throughout.
I'll begin by gently assessing each of your chakras and the flow of energy through your chakra system, using techniques from Eden Energy Medicine. There's a little interaction between us during this part as we explore what your energy is showing us.
What I find guides the chakra balancing that follows, so rather than working through exactly the same routine with everyone, I can focus the treatment around your own energy that day.
Once the assessment is finished, you can relax completely while I balance your chakras and then move into Reiki.
I generally spend around half of the treatment on chakra assessment and balancing and half on Reiki, although this can vary depending on what I find.
The treatment lasts approximately 60 minutes. I allow up to 70 minutes for your appointment, particularly the first time you visit, so there's plenty of time without anything feeling rushed.

The Wellness Room
Your session takes place in my private wellness room in Hove Edge, Brighouse
— a peaceful, comfortable space I've created for my one-to-one sessions.
The room has its own private access through the garden, with a small entrance lobby before you step into the wellness space.
Parking is available right alongside the garden gate, so it's just a short walk along the garden path to the door.
About me
I'm Seren Brown, a qualified Eden Energy Medicine practitioner and Reiki practitioner based in Brighouse.
What fascinates me about energy work is how individual it is. We're not all energetically identical, and our own energy isn't necessarily the same from one day to the next.
That's one of the reasons I love bringing my Eden Energy Medicine training into my Reiki practice. It gives me ways of exploring your energy and using what I find to make the chakra part of your treatment genuinely personal.
I'm naturally curious about this work and I love the slightly magical side of energy too. But my approach to it is warm, down-to-earth and very much about the individual person in front of me.
